Working together!
We also enjoy working as a group and giving each other different jobs to do! Mr Jones gave us a challenge of making a container our of paper that would hold 10 pencils. We could only use sellotape and paper!
In year five we have been using learning partners when we work! We discuss ideas and then share them with the class, as they say sometimes two heads are better than one!
Here are some photgraphs of us working together!
Taste Test!
As part of our Healthy Schools Campaign and our DT Curriculum, children in Year 5 have been given the challenge to design and make a healthy yogurt.
To decide what fruits to select we had a blindfolded taste test!
The children were given the opportunity to taste Kiwi fruit, apples, bananas, two different types of melon, pears, avacados, raspberries, strawberries, pineapples, oranges and grapes.
Video of making and tasting to follow!
