The Nativity Story Retold in Haiku

Our class have been writing poetry with Mr. Jones. We used the japanese form of poetry called haiku. Each haiku is made up of three lines. The first line has five syllables, the second seven and the third five. Haiku can be used very effectively to describe events such as the Nativity story. Mr. Cynan Jones, the head teacher, challenged us to retell the Christmas story using haiku. We used Photo Story 3 to make a video of the our work and collected images to illustrate the story, recorded our voices and added music at the end when we put our photographs on as a trailer. Mr. C has said that he will use this in our Christmas assembly on Friday. Click on the video to see what you think?
